saturday discoveries

I was restless Saturday. After meeting with the dolls in the am (AK made professional grade french toast, by the way), I just couldn't figure out where I wanted to be next. I knew a good portion of my afternoon would be spent catching up on work I was behind on, but I felt a pull to go somewhere else before planting myself in front of the computer. I decided to go to Urth Cafe in the Arts District to do some writing, but when I got there I didn't feel like going in. A latte with pretty foam designs on top was not what I was craving. I drove a block and found just what I was looking for...

I've been on a jewelry kick lately. I'm all about accessories. I found a couple of items that I really liked. The best part was being able to talk to the people who created them face to face. The energy they infused into their work sticks with me when I wear their pieces. Laron (IG: @noralcollections) customized my bracelet while I waited. He told me to wish on the angel wings that fasten the bracelet. Maybe I'll share what I wished for at a later date. : )

couldn't resist.
