I read this great feature on thr.com over the weekend. Shonda Rhimes has sent ripples through the broadcast TV world with her successful colorblind casting approach. Her success has poked cannon sized holes in tired TV business theories about casting non-white people and made Hollywood rethink what is possible. I love her because she creates her own rules for what she creates and how she lives. Imagining a world is the first step to living it. But, as she's famously said in the past, be a doer instead of a dreamer.
